🏥 Wibsey & Queensbury Medical Practice welcomes anyone living in our practice area who wishes to register with us.

To register with the practice, please:

1. Visit our reception in person

1. Bring your NHS Number

1. Complete a registration form – available at reception or downloadable below:

ℹ️ Please Note

Your NHS Number helps us locate your medical records, but if you don’t know it, we can still assist you — just ask a member of our reception team.

🩺 Temporary Patient Registration

If you're unwell while away from home, or you're not currently registered with a GP but need medical attention, you may be able to register as a temporary patient at a local GP practice.

🕒 Short-Term Emergency Treatment

• You can receive emergency treatment for up to 14 days without registering as a patient.

• After 14 days, you will need to register as either a temporary or permanent patient if you still need care.

📋 Temporary Registration (Up to 3 Months)

• You can register as a temporary patient for up to 3 months.

• This allows you to access care locally while still remaining registered with your home GP.

• After 3 months, you'll need to re-register as temporary or consider permanent registration.

📞 How to Register Temporarily

To register as a temporary patient, simply contact the local GP practice where you would like to be seen.

⚠️ Please Note:

• GP practices are not required to accept temporary patients unless you need emergency care, which they are obliged to provide.

• You cannot register as a temporary patient in the same town or area where you are already registered with a GP.
