Our Flu clinics this year will be run a little different as you will be invited to attend The Ridge Medical Practice, Cousen Road, Bradford, BD7 3JX along with the COVID booster vaccine for those patients who are eligible.  So we kindly ask that you do not contact the practice to seek a vaccine, you will be contacted when its the right time for you to have yours. Please act on your invite when it comes and make sure you attend your appointments when you arrange them.

Please note your vaccination appointment will be at The Ridge Medical Practice

You can also attend your local pharmacy if they offer this service for either vaccine if you are eligible. It may be worth checking with your local pharmacy prior to going to check their availability.

COVID Booster, please make sure that there has been six months between your 2nd COVID vaccine and the booster.

We thankyou in advance

KEEPING PATIENTS SAFE & STAFF SAFE

Unfortunately, we are seeing an increase in abuse directed towards our staff. The GP's tell our staff to ask for specific information about your health needs where you are comfortable doing this. Please remember that we are here to help you, so please be kind when speaking to us.

We would like to assure our patients that we are open and continue to provide services just as we have been doing throughout the pandemic. Face to Face appointments have always been made available to all where there is a need at Wibsey and Queensbury Medical Practice. At times we kindly ask that you are patient and kind to staff we have staff who have continued to work throughout this pandemic and continue to do so, despite many of them becoming ill or having to self isolate themselves. So yes at times it may take slightly longer than you would expect for an advisors to answer your telephone call and this could be due to various reasons such as at times we maybe short staff which is beyond the practice control, so we would appreciate your co-operation during these uncertain times. And we will get to you as soon as we can.

From 19th July the lawful requirement to wear face masks will be lifted.  There are still a high number of COVID-19 cases in Bradford, and the Practice will continue to exercise caution to minimise the risk of infection. As such we will continue to ask patients to wear face coverings to their appointments. Staff in the building will continue to wear full PPE and will collect patients from reception to minimise the risk of transmission.

Should you require an appointment please call from 8am Monday to Friday we kindly ask that you do not attend the practice unless you have been asked to do so.

You will be in close proximity to clinicians and potentially other vulnerable patients when you come for your appointment and it is still possible to catch and spread COVID-19 even if you are fully vaccinated. It is therefore important for us to continue with the measures we currently have in place to keep patients and staff safe, and to minimise disruption to our service.

Everyone must remain cautious as cases of COVID-19 remain high. Please keep yourself and others safe by booking for your COVID-19 vaccination, getting tested and self-isolating if you develop symptoms.
